Repeat Prescriptions

We need your request in writing.

  • You can order online via the links at the top of this page
  • Alternatively please call into the surgery to drop your repeat slip off (post box outside if the surgery is closed) or post your request to us.

Repeat prescription orders are NOT taken over the telephone.

Prescriptions will be ready for collection in 48 hours.

If you have nominated a pharmacy for electronic prescriptions then your medication will be sent electronically in 48 hours.

Please remember to pick up your medication from the pharmacy.

For postal prescriptions please allow at least 1 week before your medication runs out.

Electronic Prescribing Service

This practice is set up for the electronic prescription service.

This means that for most patients we can send your prescription to your chosen chemist directly saving you having to come down to the surgery.

To get your prescription sent to your chosen pharmacy you will have to ask reception to sign up.

A Note Regarding Lloyds Pharmacy, Derby Street

From March 3rd 2023, we have been advised that Lloyds Pharmacy on Derby Street will no longer be ordering medications on behalf of patients.

Patients who previously used this service that they offered will have to change the way in which they order their medications.

The Pharmacy will be advising patients on how to use the NHS App to do this in future but patients can also request by hand and post their request into the surgery or via the surgery email address (edt.m83076@nhs.net).
