Practice Manager
To ensure the smooth running of the practice by managing the staff, building and developing the clinical services which we provide to patients as directed by the doctors. Liaise with all the members of the PHCT. Ensures that patients are provided with the best services we can provide within our resources.

Office Manager
To ensure the smooth running of the practice reception area.


Medical Secretary
Works to a recognised administrative standard. Inputting and following through efficiently all of the referrals to secondary care on behalf of the clinical team. Maintaining recall appointments for patients with chronic diseases as determined by the new GMS contract.

Data Clerk
Works to a predetermined practice standard of inputting patient data onto the computer, following guidelines and protocols agreed in house. Using Read Codes to record patient data onto the clinical system. To ensure knowledge is up to date with the ever changing IT programmes within the NHS.


First point of contact with the patient, liaise with the whole of the PHCT. Answer the telephone lines and arrange and cancel appointments for patients . Relay information from doctors / nurses to patients.
